Drum Circle Batucada Workshop

The Batucada workshop offers drum students the opportunity to immerse themselves in ensemble music in a fun atmosphere. Participants will explore various Latin American rhythms together with the use of various authentic percussion instruments and their respective techniques. Through rhythm and drumming, participants will gain and improve many skills such as active listening, following directions, teamwork, communication and collaboration skills, self-expression, body language, and much more. The workshop will culminate in a performance, wherein the participants will celebrate their work in front of an audience.

Students will have the opportunity to perform together with the Big Band Brothers in celeBBBRAYtion on the 17th of December in Valletta.
